Things Going From Bad to Worse
That's right. You heard right. Maybe I should explain what's going on. Yesterday, I was involved in an intake interview with Catholic Charities regarding the acquisition of an Emergency Housing Voucher to help me move out. It turns out, they claim I don't qualify for a Voucher, so I explained this to my care coordinator, and she says she's going to try to straighten this out, because, according to her, it's illegal to refuse vital services to an individual. Now, let's get to what happened today. When I went online to check the status of my Supportive Housing Application, guess what? I found out it had expired! Yeah, apparently it's only good for two years. So, I had to put in a new application, explaining I couldn't pay to stay where I'm living now.
