Very Disappointed and Ashamed

In case the title of the journal entry hasn't given it away, I am very, very disappointed in the American people at this point.

I am ashamed of our country's decision to re-elect Donald Trump as our 47th President, because apparently, the public fell for his rants and empty promises instead of looking toward their future.  I still think Kamala Harris would have made a good president, because she actually had a plan for the future of the country, while Trump has... absolutely nothing except concepts for a plan.

And now that Trump is back in the White House, I'm sure he will do absolutely nothing that will benefit our people.  All he'll do is basically pardon all the "cult members" that threatened the 2021 election, not to mention take revenge on everyone who turned against him.

So, America, I say this in closing.  Thank you for basically digging a deeper grave for us, because for the next four years, we will be stuck with the most selfish, most narcissistic man who will practically order all of us to bow to his whim.  As for me, I will never sink that low.

Goodbye, democracy.
